Well, alky content usually correlates to maltiness. More etOH ~ more unfermented sugars.

What do you mean by "body" if you don't mean "maltiness"?

The Tripels and Quads I brought back have more alky, and therefore more body than any of the drinks you brought back. But we should do a comparison to be sure. :)

Careful, once you go Belgium, you never go back. Tripel is my favorite style.

I thought PBR was a flavor of water. Are you comparing it to beer.

Drinking a Rochefort 10 in my hotel room in Bruges - 11% abv and aged in scotch barrels. I swear, you can't spit without hitting an excellent beer around here.

Also picked up a Girardin Geuze black label (also 100 on ratebeer.com). Amazing beer.

Picked up a Gouden Carolus Cuvée van de Keizer to bring home (rates 100 on ratebeer.com and no 2 beer in Belgium this year).

In Belgium now. Focusing mainly on Belgian beers I have not seem in the states. Grimbergen brun, Maes Pils, and Morte Subite framboise were all pretty god, but no better than Kasteel Brun, Pilsner...

I guess so. I haven't seen it in stores either. But there are at least 2 of them in Houston - in my beer fridge.

They make a high gravity version of that beer that is not available in Houston called "Raison d'Extra" and it also awesome.

#9 is Magic Hat's most popular. At least it was in Atlanta.
