I would give you that IF you were talking about one but SMU...
I didn't say they were a basketball school - I said they were more of a cultural fit and had a "similar" mindset with those catholic basketball schools -
And I don' think BE football falls totally...
You only have to have 8 to play football...
I actually think SMU fits more "cuturally and in mindset" with the BE catholic basketball schools and they would stay the course...
After the actions the remaining BE presidents took with the removal of Marianato - I just don't see it happening....
Doubt it -
The catholic basketball schools want OUT of the football business...
I could see the BE ceasing to exist as a football conference before they agree to take two more SOUTHERN FOOTBALL...
