In reality, this thread should be called "new conference name change". This is not the Big East - it is a group of schools that joined the Big East before the Big East left and are taking their name...

Takes a while to brand a new conference name. Just saying......... The Big East had a good reputation name - even if it was associated with bball. No one will know who the new conference is... ...
You will have to start from scratch on national branding. That is an uphill battle. I think it would be silly to sell the name. Just my opinion........
