From the News-Star:
A few highlights:
-Soccer, softball, and baseball will not play on campus this coming year. The new sports complex in Ruston and Ruston High could be used for practice and...
Keep in mind, they don't know the site yet. They're still trying to have questions answered about the entire project for all sports. I don't know, but I suspect some of those questions include:

Correct. It's a possibility. Just a bigger version. The big draw here is the fact it was designed by HKS. We should strongly consider using them.
Everything is on the table at this point. The plan a month ago may not be the plan a month from now.
As many others have posted on this board and elsewhere over the past few days if baseball were to move away from the Love Shack then softball should be relocated to that sight. You have everything...
I would expect something similar on a larger scale if both sports were moved to the old Neilson-Carruthers site. You can't do that today if those same sports were rebuilt where they are now because...
I agree with everything you are saying. I would add one thing to it, something Friscodawg has been posting for the past week.
If baseball has to be moved I want the athletic department to keep...

SD: Keep in mind UNT built that whole complex from scratch. We would just have to build a new grandstand with an office, training room and athletes lounge for the two sports along with separate...
To their credit some of the heavy hitters have stepped to the plate in the past 10 years for at least 3 projects. But you're correct in that if ever Tech needed to come up with a visionary plan and...
Your post suggests the athletic department went to the Foundation and took out a loan as if it were a bank. The reality is the university simply used the Foundation to run the debt through rather...
Really! Tech students pay almost nothing in students fees for athletics compared to most of our competitors.
Even for projects on campus in the last 30 years like the Lambright Center expansion...
For starters the State's Self-Insured Fund will pay $2.3 million. I suspect FEMA will end up covering the rest. If we get dollars to rebuild the stadium way it was built in 1967-68 (not precast or...
