    Question: Re: Season tickets?

They arrived today. Nice looking product. Was a little surprised to see the tickets in a bound booklet instead of ticket sheets like basketball. First time since maybe 2006 that I haven't bought at...

    Re: Announcement

Every small, rural parish in the state would benefit from going to parish-wide government instead of separate parish and town governments, if that's what you're talking about. Savings in personnel...

    Re: Announcement

Not that I'll ever run for office (I won't) but that's why I registered "No Party" a couple of years ago. After being in the Republican party since I was 18.

    Good luck to you!
  7. Re: JC Love Field to Remain in Same Location

Pretty sure the last two versions of the master plan show Stadium Blvd closed and the entrance to the athletic complex moves to the north property line. Haven't gone back to look but I think I...
  8. Re: JC Love Field to Remain in Same Location

The dimensions of our playing field were grandfathered in and don't meet the newer criteria. And with our current seating capacity, I think the NCAA would have a tendency to award a hosting...
  9. Re: JC Love Field to Remain in Same Location

Given what we've been building for educational and athletic facilities for the last several years, I can't see us building a new ballpark that won't be first rate. And large enough to meet NCAA"s...

Re: What are you reading currently?

    I'm re-reading "Atlas Shrugged".
  11. Re: Bulldogs Add Transfer Forward Andrew Gordon

Somewhat true, but you can't deny his ability to block shots. And to very successfully drive home a lob to the basket. I'd take him back in a heartbeat over anyone we've had at that position since...
  12. Re: Bulldogs Add Transfer Forward Andrew Gordon

Some of his moves around the basket remind me of Michale Kyser. We can only hope!
  13. Re: Bulldogs Add Transfer Forward Andrew Gordon

Glad to see his height & his size. Hope he makes a positive difference.

    Re: Grilling, Gas or Charcoal?

True, but then again (and sad to admit) without Champ967 (aka the Context Assassin) the board would be a more dull and humorless place.

Re: UConn Leaving AAC for Big East

Slooowly shm. Then realizing....you're just trying to bait me, hoping I'll fall into another of your juvenile "twss" traps.

All I can say is, this situation calls for a bigger man than Champ967!
  20. Re: Where should LaTech rebuild baseball stadium

All things considered, we ought to hear some solid news on what the plans are soon.

Re: 2019 Football season 61 days

Just a guess but I think you have to have a center line so you'll know which is passing side and which is suicide. ;)

Re: UConn Leaving AAC for Big East

This thing with UConn and the AAC is no big deal. The AAC isn't likely to add anyone now.

But what's coming in about 3 years could be a really big deal when the P-5 media contracts start...
