I've been reading. There are several factors, but I think the biggest thing I've read is that the millennial generation isn't into sports. They don't want to spend their money on it.
That's interesting. It sounds like people are just losing interest in football. I can't think of any way to explain that.
I think you have to change perspective in seasons when the offense is struggling. Go to the game to watch the defense. LSU has had weak offenses for decades, but they don't struggle with attendance...

We've reached the point where beating our conference mates means nothing, but losing to them means we need a new coach and we are angry and bitter and nobody goes to the games. "UTEP" is just...
I don't hate that idea. We could build some good rivalries in that Central Division.
I think that's true. We just need UTEP and Rice to beat us more often so we don't take those wins for granted. (build up some rivalry).
Yes, you would lose weight, but you would die. So, if we join the Sun Belt we would increase attendance, but die? Separation appears to have failed imo.
I wonder if joining the Sun Belt might help attendance? I don't sense any passion to beat the teams in the West Division of CUSA (or the East really). ULM and ULL at least draws out some passion...
