Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

YPA and completion percentage kinda work together. If Abraham makes 20% more of his passes than Smith, he should have more yards. That means Abraham has about 30% of attempts result in 0 yards, and...

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

What we had was coach allowing his QB to play to his strengths for one half, and settling in the second half.
Settling, or doing “just enough,” is an enemy to true success. And thats what coach has...

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

Yeah but a 1v1 vs Skip isnt a measure of success. The rest of his season is pretty lacking. Twice he has had to beat us for bowl eligibility. Brohm was only 2-2 vs Skip but Brohm is much better than...

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

That I can agree with. I think he left for his own reasons, he clearly had no issue with being a second or third string QB since he went from being one here to being one there. By some crazy luck...

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

He did, but in defense of that he was hit very hard from behind and that prevented him from grabbing it.

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

Alfred was certainly up to task where some others were not. Hardy had a drop, I think, but also played well as he typically does. I think it was Veal that had an easy first down that he dropped that...

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

There is no Crow. If Abraham and Smith’s teams were reversed, do you really think we win? I don’t. Smith played to win as long as coach allowed him. Then coach switched to “play not to lose” mode....

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

Thats all that is impressive about it. I didn’t say he was aweful. But his season as a whole isn’t anything special. Our defense left so many wide open.

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

There was nothing about Abraham that put him above JMar tonight.

He is, but nothing in this thread is related to that.

Re: Abraham doing well in Hattiesburg

Idk why you guys insist on arguing over who’s worse. Abraham hasn’t been “impressive” and J’Mar wasn’t lighting it up in his first few starts either. Currently I’d still pick J’Mar over him, we’ll...

Why didn’t Westin get any PT? Or did I miss it?
