Nothing will ever top the Blue Light Cafe on that front. That place was something special.

    Bad Wolf.

I will say that a fair amount of my food budget went to Hot Rod back in the day though. That $5 Tech Special was too good to pass up.

What should something like that cost? I'm genuinely curious as I don't have experience in something like that; just want to learn.

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

I can't speak to who's running the facilities. I do like the idea of having an outsider run it, but $500k/year seems steep at first glance.

From a travel ball perspective though, Ruston has the...

Ruston's facility beats Natty by a mile. They screwed the pooch from the get go with the drainage system at Parc Natty.

Don't know much about what's going in at WM, but they better do it right if...

I saw somewhere on Facebook they were going to, but I don't remember when the last day was/is supposed to be.

I’ll have no choice but to become a late night DG meth head if Skip sticks around much longer. Gotta be more fun than being a Tech football fan.

The DG is open later than Spring Market by a couple of hours, but Haughton is mostly asleep by then. You only get the crazy ones at DG that late

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

We got a Spring Market (Brookshire's) here in Haughton. It's great for when you need a few things, but they charge a bit more than Brookshire's. It'll put the 2 dollar stores that are in a 200 yard...

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

Posados is hot garbage. The reason why there are 15 El Jars in Ruston is because college kids like cheap food and 2 for 1 margaritas. They're basically a only a step above Taco Bell, but with...

Yep, that's the one. You can eat some great ribs at Silver Star and get dessert at DQ before you get back on the highway! :D

Went to the new DQ in Bossier last night, and saw it has a Tech flag flying out front. Is the owner of the new Ruston DQ the same guy?

I think Griff's could be attributed to about half of the weight I put on while in college, but I enjoyed every bit of it!
