It seems to minimize Higgins' contributions (and they were certainly not minimal) is the thing that bothered me. He had a great year and his career at Tech showed his devotion to his now alma mater.

Man, that is speculation to the highest degree. Probably mistaken, as well. Fans only see a percentage of how a player performs. Would not the same hold true had the coaches stuck with Higgins and...
