A Houston fan arguing academics?? Markets don't matter if nobody is watching. I am sure a ton of people saw UTSA beat up on UH this year. Facilities mean everything and so does attendance at this...
We don't know who this Prez has hired, but given the shirt time he has been here. I'm certain. He is on top of it. This ain't Dan Reneau.
We have to continue success on the football field and start winning in Olympic sports as well. ULL has us beat badly in almost all other sports.
Trends must continue and we must also claim titles and bowl victories to finish strong. Those are the things that keep up on tv and in the press.
We have to treat every season from here on out as a job interview for the AAC. Rice and UTSA are also applying.
There isn't a single WAC team save Fresno for different reasons that will speak ill of Tech's competitiveness. Our time in the WAC was a foundation by which we will build a football mansion.
Longhorn Network is a dismal failure. It will be Big12 Network soon. Both conferences will merge but one will be east and one will be west. We actually could end up in either.

I don't think I mentioned ACC if I did it was a mistake. ULL has academic issues, along with other things. They also haven't won a conference title outright. Going to the same bowl four years in a...
Being in a Bowl game every year fo the next 5 or so years, facility upgrades every year and incremental increases in the Athletic Budget will put us in position to be in the AAC next go round. You...
We are gonna need three more years similar to this year. By that I mean division titles, championship game appearances, big bowl games and solid MBB seasons. Not losing to to ULL in basketball, and...
No love for SMU and it's 5 season ticket holders. That being said I want to stay in a conference with as many SWC teams as possible. Rice, SMU and Houston are alway preferred Conference mates to me.
I hate Tulane. Could care less about ECU and Tulsa. I love were we are but also concede that if you aren't moving up you are dying.
I would be ok with that as well if everybody else in CUSA was ok with that, but everybody is itching to jump ahead into the AAC.
