Home court means a lot in CUSA.
Not good.
The I-bowl disillusioned me about bowl games my freshman year (1997). They absolutely made the right call that year as a business, and that really helped me to see the bowls for what they are....
Didn't Amik sit that one out?
Trendsetter, that was before opting out of bowls was quite as normalized.
But I agree with your overall point, any senior hoping to make an NFL roster much...
Good win. Probably the best so far this season, right?
Maybe the guys portaling out will view this as one more chance to show out and audition for what they hope is their new team.
It was a tough watch live. Good to see the Techsters, but. . .yikes.
I think there are reads, but they're done pre-snap (with lots of looking to the sideline in the olden days, be interesting to see how it works with in-helmet communication).
I wonder if Franklin uses tight ends now. And how committed he is to tempo anymore. His MTSU teams passed a lot I think, but I don't remember them being notably fast-paced (but I honestly don't...
Starting to wonder about this now. Hasn't signed yet, I wonder if we backed off?
I always want more Arkansans at Tech, but I'm still holding out hope that we can be good with or without another...
I hate this, but how is it different from any time in the past? If you're not getting a return game and are just playing for a paycheck, you're a "cupcake." If you're in a G6 conference, you're a...
Put that same leadership at Tech in 1998 and you might have more wins now. We might be in the Sunbelt or even the AAC now (although I doubt it).
We wouldn't be in the Big 12.
It can feel this way, but we haven't been a running joke for 30 years in every sport. WBB was in the national championship game in '97. And wasn't a joke until, what, like 2011 or 2012? And even now,...
I was there!
That's what I thought. Just missed each other. Troy played with both, so Tru would have been a good connection.
Shame he and Tru didn't overlap. It would have been '97 all over again. Or maybe '98? Did Josh Bradley and John Simon overlap? Might have missed each other by a year, right?
If the point of college sports was just wins/losses/championships then a lot more schools would have dropped down a long time ago.
It's important. It's (largely) the point for fans. But it's not...
We also have a current commit from my hometown and alma mater. A surer sign of pending success you'll never find! Things are about to turn around y'all!
It's not the only factor, but their size and location are the biggest reason they're in the Big 12. It's a way bigger reason than any coaching hiring or firing they've made in that time period.
What poor choices kept us from quintupling our size and moving 300K more people to Ruston?
At our level I don't think this is true. Heck, I don't think it's true anywhere.
At least not without some context (that tends to be hard to get). Any player that goes somewhere to make more money...
It's going to be quite a swing when we go from losing to Southern to beating Memphis within just a few days.
I'm in the minority I know, but I think this is our best hope for a winning record in 2025. I'm rooting for the momentum from the end of the season to carry over.
Saw Kacey this last weekend (birthday present for Mrs. Inudesu) and it was a fantastic show. Nickel Creek and Lord Huron opened. Both great.

Clear rooting interest for us for them to add NMSU. That's a win-win-win situation.
