Tried Red River's Hay Ryed this week. Good stuff if you like wheat brews. It's not sweet and citrus like shock top...its Spicy!

Re: Request for fellow beer snobs..

No reviews on Shreveport's own from the snobs? I've had the APA (Commotion) and the Lager (Southern Drawl) and I enjoyed both. Of course, I have no idea what I'm doing as a beer snob. I enjoyed...

Does Saban have a son? Our hiring history over the last 14 years, if written up, reads like an Onion article.

Re: Whiskey and Scotch drinkers step inside

In light of the current season, I'm glad to bump this thread. Had my first pour of Booker's tonight. Amazingly smooth at 127 proof. Well balanced and easy to drink neat.

Re: Request for fellow beer snobs..

Where can you get good craft brews in Northwest LA? I've had the gateway craft stuff (St. Arnolds and Abita), but I'm wanting to try some more snob approved brews. What to get and where to get it...

    Re: Serious gun control questions

Inside a house, I've heard that a 12 gauge with 7 or 8 shot is the way to go. Devastating at close distance but unlikely to punch through walls and maintain lethal velocity.

I don't pretend to know what cognoscenti means, so I'll accept your admission at face value.

The difficulty in this issue is defining what is superfluous and what is reasonable. The most deadly...

Re: R P Stuart is Back

If I'm choosing guys to come back, Molton tops my list. Any word on him? RP was tough. Shame Cruz Williams was such a bust...he had a ton of natural ability.

I don't think the "where" would be prohibitive. You could put it in Alexandria, Monroe, or even Lake Charles.

I believe DO's have trouble matching in competitive residency programs. That said, if the ACA stands, the demand for primary care physicians will increase dramatically.

I'm sort of new to bourbon, but WR is one of my favorites. I like Knob Creek too, but both are sort of expensive for my budget. For the money, it's tough to beat Buffalo Trace. It's the cheapest...
