I have to agree with you on the Belgium beers. I have become a big fan. I can get Omer and Brooklyn Local 1 at the HEB here for a decent price. While Brooklyn Local 1 is brewed in the USA, it does...

OK I know that this is a beer thread, but my time of useful consciousness is limited at this moment so I used the first thread that was in the right direction. My wife found, and I have to agree,...

I drank way too many Olys in Korea many years ago. The alternative was Korean beer with formaldehyde in it. It worked for the times but I would pass it up even many years later.

We had a Christmas dinner last night for the neighborhood. Three of us killed 4 bottles of No 1 and one bottle of Omer. We were doing quite well at the end of the evening!

I live just a bit further down I-10 just off of Camp Bullis Rd. The Ritas at Cha Chos were always my favorite. It usually only takes one and if you have two, you should have someone else drive home.

Best micro beer I ever had was a guest tap at a brew pub in Redondo Beach, Ca. The beer was called Black Ivory. I haven't seen it since. It was very smooth and a ton of body.
