Tyler Childers: Can I Take My Hounds to Heaven…great album
Texas Monthly did a story on this guy. Super depressing music, but really good:

It's been a while since I heard that song! I always respect a guy who can play bass and sing at the same time...it's not easy.
I introduced my kids to Matchbox20 earlier this week. They were not...
Robert Earl Keen...all day long
Love this tribute.
Nobody tell Bob about Joe Diffie...it's too much for one day.
I went down an EVH tunnel yesterday. He was a genuine talent, but I just didn't really enjoy his music. For a child of the 80s, that feels like blasphemy, but it is what it is.
He's amazing.

Good stuff!
Robert Earl Keen today.
Turnpike Troubadours and John Moreland today doing yard work and cooking some BBQ. Something about those OK song writers.
Listened to a little John Fullbright last night after dinner. It was a salve to my soul.
I don't know how to take any of that.
I guess I'll cue up some Coheed and Cambria and Muse and see what happens.
Made my daughter listen to Weezer on the way to school this morning...the blue album.
She was not impressed.
So, I tried Red Hot Chili Peppers...she said it was weird.
Finished up with Tom...
We've been wearing out Andrew Peterson's Behold the Lamb of God album since late November. It's an amazing advent album.

They're so good. Of course, I find them after they've more or less broken up.

It's a mandolin orange kind of morning in Northwest Louisiana.

Haven't been able to get into the new album yet. I've been listening to a lot of Tyler Childers and Turnpike Troubadours lately.
