    Re: Liberty Series

It was good to see Houston play and that he had some success at the plate. He needs to play more often for all kinds of reasons. Here’s an idea, how about Mexico return to playing left field with...

    Re: Liberty Series

Like Burroughs likes to say, it’s not who you play, but when you play them. Thankfully Liberty didn’t couldn’t make good on all the opportunities Tech gave them this series. We could’ve had a sweep...

    Re: Liberty Series

Burroughs said it exactly right in the post game show. He said it was a pillow fight. Unfortunately Tech knocked themselves out with their own pillow. Liberty didn’t even have to try.

    Re: Liberty Series

When Harland is your best reliever you know you’re in big trouble. I give him credit though. He pitched with an all business Bulldog attitude today.

    Re: Liberty Series

Pitcher defense is definitely a practice idea for next week. This is ridiculous.

    Re: Liberty Series

Why when we get a head in the count are the next 2-3 pitches way too often off the plate? This has to be an intentional strategy because we do it way too often. How about we try throwing 3 strikes in...

    Re: Liberty Series

Through 4 Tech doing what they do with 1 hit and a bunch of sky high easy outs. Liberty has 2-0 gifted lead. The dawgs are looking very uninspired so far.

    Re: Liberty Series

Burroughs made some unusual pitching decisions that I hope don’t cost the Dawgs in the next two games. Thankfully Nations and Hooks didn’t throw much so hopefully they can pitch again even if just an...

    Re: Liberty Series

There was a whole game of errors, bad pitching and leaving runners on base with bad at bats. You really should pay more attention to the details of the game.

    Re: Liberty Series

Liberty pretty much did nothing but show up to almost win the game. Tech can’t afford to be so complacent.

    Re: Liberty Series

Tech went from Burroughs not making the second consecutive post game show to being there.

    Re: Liberty Series

Tech was mentally beat in the 7th inning. Now we’ve got to rely on a team that can’t hit, so we’ll see.

Cooley did his duty very well. Now it’s time for the relievers to do theirs.

    Re: Liberty Series

Tech sure hits a lot of pop ups. Just imagine what we might could do with some line drives or even hard hit grounders. Our few base runners just stand around watching fly outs. When Safford is the...

Re: Preview: LA Tech at ULM

Its sounding like someone has wiped the lipstick off of our pig, haha. There are 5 guys on this team that should’ve been gone 2 years ago, but Burroughs prefers favoritism to putting our best players...

Are you saying good hitting can never beat good pitching or just that Tech hitting can’t beat good pitching. How about let’s not always concede whatever it is to the opposition.

Except unfortunately Tech couldn’t make any base hits happen. Sunday our better hitters couldn’t make any contributions to our offense.
  20. Re: Preview: LA Tech at Middle Tennessee Weekend Series

Houston needs to play more. I don’t know if we were lucky, good or if MT choked. Regardless, I’m appreciative of the wins. A sweep in this series is huge.

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. UL-Lafayette

I get everyone defending Safford. Unfortunately the truth of the matter is that the situations are coming when Safford bunting isn’t going to be what’s needed from his bat and him swinging for the...

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. UL-Lafayette

A bit of a teeter totter game at times. Tech did enough to eke it out but didn’t exactly capitalize on all the opportunities they had. Hopefully we’ll keep up playing well balanced games. Safford’s...

    Re: CUSA Baseball 2025

RPI is a garbage system built to favor the big conferences and keep the smaller schools blocked out. The whole thing begins with a school’s name and then when you add in all the early season home...
  24. Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. FIU Weekend Series

Now it makes sense why FIU burned through their pitchers in game 2 and wasted so much time. They were going all in to win the game knowing there wouldn’t be a game 3. Congratulations Dawgs for out...

    Re: FIU Series - Weather

Today’s game management around the weather was horrible! Obviously it’s tough dealing with what the weather will allow but Tech’s communications and updates to the extending delays was atrocious. As...
