Holtz is like Tech’s Jeff Bower… always respectable, but never dominant. 2nd and 3rd place gets boring after a while.

My takeaway is that Sonny showed the blueprint for having a really good team at Tech: recruit mostly transfers and JUCOs. He handed over a depleted team to Holtz because of this though.

I went to the UNT game and it was glaring that Tech “looked” like the bigger, more athletic team. I pointed it out to my son and he agreed. UTSA most be impressive.
