Not sure I mentioned this before, but am reading through the Bible. 1 chapter per day since Covid lockdowns began. Will be finishing on July 31. A group of guys wanted the challenge and the...
More of a documentary than a book though.
Rereading Uncommon by Tony Dungy.
I also read book 1 of the Atlee Pine series. Pretty good as well.
Are there more Memory Man books? I thought only 4. Wow, I have a ways to go.
I have all 4 of those Amos Decker books now. To me, Baldacci took what Clancy and Grisham have done and bumped it a level.
The Last Mile- David Baldacci
Took a break from The Godfather because some guys wanted to start reading the Bible cover to cover. Almost thru the Bible and I did finish The Godfather.
Still trudging my way through The Godfather. It picks up for short stints and then crawls for a while.
I think we read that in 8th grade. Need to read it again.
Best of luck.
I cheated and took the test for all three from multiple summaries. I’ll go a step further with The Grapes of Wrath. It’s like chewing a frozen piece of gum still in the wrapper.

What books have you attempted repeatedly and never made it through?
The Good Earth
The Grapes of Wrath
A Tale of Two Cities
We never read 1984 or Animal Farm in high school. Those are next for me.
As to a list, I don’t have many because most of what I have read is by Dan Brown, John Grisham, and David Baldacci. Great...
I may be picked on for this, but I am reading The Godfather for the first time. Have never seen the movies, but I want to after reading.
Grisham’s “The Broker”. Chicoms(allegedly) pulling the wool over everyone’s eyes with their surveillance system that gets hacked and manipulated by unknown cyber attackers. Hhmmm......
I can’t make myself read it or watch it as much as I think I’d like to. I’m a grown made who isn’t scared of clowns, except one.
I could listen at home. My drive is less than 2 miles for work.
I will have to remember this thread when my kids are grown and gone and I have time to read again. Outside of a little BBB and news articles, I can’t seem to get any reading in.
Just started the Hardy Boys series with my oldest.
I am having trouble getting into it. Really slow developing. Not like many of the other series which are really tense from the jump.
Memory Man Series by Baldacci.
"Make Way for Ducklings" with my 4 year old.
loan policy, employee handbook, and security procedure for new job.
