Question, are there any Fortune 500 firms/businesses in the Shreveport/Bossier area? I would love for a couple of more companies to partner up with Tech like Murphy and Centurylink.

I wonder how many LSUA students would be able to get into Tech?

We already use "Tech-Barksdale". I image it will be called "Tech - Shreveport/Bossier" or "Louisiana Tech - Shreveport/Bossier"

I would be fine with it. Just change their colors to Red/Blue and mascot to Bulldogs/Techsters. Penn State does it like that.

Looking at Penn State, they have different campuses but all share the same mascot

Got a question, if you're a LSUS student would you be happy about this merger(takeover)? You won't be able to say you go to "LSU" - leaving off the S intentionally.

I found this interesting. Why would they be scared? They should be excited about the added value of having the Tech name on their degree.
