I still think Tech made a mistake not putting in an effort to do grassroots fund raising for the DAC and the press box. And I don't buy the excuse of not having enough staff to do it "right". But...

What the heck is wrong with a specific fund raising project like this? It's something that needs to be done. And gives donors who don't have a check book the size of an old Sears catalog something...
