  1. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

Both Wossman and Carroll suck, if they aren't both failing they are a D at best. Students can trasfer out to any passing school unless it is a private passing school using vouchers to attend.

    I...
  2. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

Sounds like you don't like vouchers or private schools.

You don't have a problem with the rule that allows an athete to attend any school he chooses as an beginning freshman?

    You do have a...
  3. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

No Henderson and Vidrine (Ruston and Neville) only denied voucher transfers to private schools. It's still fine if a student wants to trasfer and play at a public POS school. Both admins are a POS!
  4. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

    The unions are threatened.

Monroe City Schools and many Richland Parish Schools are the norm for what these teacher's unions accept.

  7. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

Define bureaucrats. There are several parishes in Louisiana that have excellent public school systems. Monroe City would be a fine example if bureaucrats = school board members. School Board members...
  8. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

I don't believe this makes teachers the bad guy. It will weed out some bad teachers that I think you will admit are entrenched in the current system. Weeding them out needs to be done. Good, even...
  9. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

Tenure won't go anywhere w/out the unions going away. Why don't the teachers leave the unions? They trust the unions.

This thing is much bigger than tenure. They entire funding system needs...
  10. Re: Say No to Jindal's New Proposed Education "Reform"

My wife is a teacher too. Notice those chosen to represent the unions. They are real winners. The unions are the problem. Good teachers won't lose their jobs. Three year tenure is BS! Why is this a...
