    Re: Umbrella zone

You can disagree if you want but it's a stadium rule. And a rule that is nearly universal no matter where you go. They can't let you get away with it or else maddawg will use you as his excuse for...

    Re: Umbrella zone

Who cares? If you violate the rules you don't have the right to say "someone else did it" as your defense. If you get pulled over for speeding do you defend yourself by saying the other guy was...

    Re: Umbrella zone

I don't get the confusion. Unbrellas are always a no no for sporting events. Come prepared with a poncho or other rain gear. Have a change of clothes ready in the car after the game with some towels.

Best guess is that this was an initiative created by the Aspire Group.

    Re: New Home Uniforms

I'm having trouble understanding how dawgs is southern when you reference Butler, Southern Illinois, and Washington as schools that use it.

FYI both Georgia and Washington share the trademark.

I would expect anyone as moved by you in any issue to do adequate research before voicing your opinion. Otherwise you end up speaking out of your ass.

For example do any of the schools you cite as...

I'm sorry. I don't see the big deal. And I'm one of the people that uses Dawgs.

I am not the expert here. I'm asking questions that you should consider before jumping to the conclusion that we failed. I'm no expert on anything discussed here. And it's doubtful that anyone that...

    Re: New Home Uniforms

Never needed evidence. I'm aware what other schools do. I'm also aware of other i$$ue$ that might make it easier to combat a cease and desist. We could probably do the same if we had the same...

Are you sure it wasn't a little cease and desist letter that made us stop?

Scanner issues typically occur the first game of the season. Scanner issues are real. Ticketmaster is usually on hand because they know this is the game most likely to have issues. FYI I believe it...

Re: New ASST. AD for Marketing

It happens all the time. Here are a few examples that people never cared about from actual rivals (note that ULL is not our rival).

Vince Dooley- Auburn grad and Georgia head coach and AD

Re: New ASST. AD for Marketing

It comes down to money. 1- we can't pay more than they get now elsewhere. 2- we can't afford to create new positions.

This isn't really an anomaly in the business. Especially at the university...

A lot of Tech people leave or don't try to come here because they give up their career upward mobility to be here.

Re: New ASST. AD for Marketing

I actually know an Auburn grad that worked for Alabama. It happens. Believe it or not there are Tech grads working at other schools too. Part of being professional is not letting that influence you.

Re: New Men's Rules for next season

I'll add to you that dribbling is horribly inefficient in the half court. More often than not it should be a last resort. There is an art to moving without the ball. Too many guys today don't know...

    Question: Re: MBB Coach Search

All of the public candidates have ties to the Drews or the Millers. I guess that is as close as we can get this go round.
  22. Re: M. Basketball. @LATechHoops Add Florida A&M Transfer Jermaine Ruttley

Only guy I recall signing a GIA and not coming under Rupp was DJ Wright. And I don't think he played college ball anywhere after his juco days.

    Re: 2015-2016 Basketball Roster
