Yeah ok I get that. I just wouldn't classify a Tech mess in the class as say an Auburn, or Tenn, or even a USM mess.

Why would TECH be considered a possible mess?

ULM would not have been in the Indy Bowl or ANY bowl if Tech had taken the spot....
