    Re: Russia

The chatter I hear is mostly along the lines of "why hasn't he nuked Ukraine yet" but I suppose the eradication of human society is a worthwhile price to pay for the globalist warhawks to keep their...

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

Partially you simply can't win on variety vs a larger city. I will note that Flying Tiger is a great marketing partnership for ulm. I think Utility has done a few things like that, the Ruston Red,...
  4. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Ha! You know what I mean.

The guy doesn't necessarily even need to pan out long term. If he can establish a baseline it's something you can grow on.

We've spent a decade eroding our own...

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

I mostly hear it compared to Monroe. I guess I tend toward that as well, I spend more time east than west
  6. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Possibly, but ulm has had good results with $5 tickets in the past. Now they have a celebrity coach and excitement in the program.

    Re: Bulldogs Finalize 2022-23 Schedule

We've played them before as part of our 10-game NAIA slate

Looks like more of the same

Re: $$ Paid for Leaving C-USA

I can't even imagine what the landscape will look like in 2025.
  9. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

    The talent can't be helped.

All the more so, the guys on the field are not talented enough to keep starting with the constant issues of discipline. These are things that can be fixed in practice...
  10. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

That would go a long way. I have 3 young kids (can't remember the free cutoff) and that puts a pretty low bar on what I'm willing to do to drag them through the hot sun for 4 hours plus tailgating
  11. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Fwiw I just read a thread by a Nebraska fan complaining about the lack of energy during games. Sounded very similar to some of the comments here.
  12. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Yes. In general, make it easy for fans, particularly those who could grow up with good memories of Tech games.
  13. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

    oof
  14. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Yep. We dont have the luxury, even less so now with the portal.
  15. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Tbf it's easier to be loyal when the team is good
Not that we'd know what that's like

Re: Peanut Buckets Coming to DAWGTOWN

I don't know why it's not more popular but I'm not complaining, it's clean. The meat selection from their butcher is great.

Same folks that opened Calhoun Grocery iirc
  17. Re: What will it take to drive game attendance up?

Lol if you think prices will go down due to crappy product.
  18. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Ok. What is he going to do about it?
  19. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

    lowest.

maybe he did already and that explains our bizarre performance tonight
  20. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Classic strategy of letting them wear themselves out beating us.

Anyone planning on listening to the call-in show? I won't be able to but I hope its on fire.
  21. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Nailed it. We are only sinking, not rising. And honestly it's probably too late to reverse the trend. Hard to be optimistic.
  22. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Maybe thats why we can't tackle, because it works in practice!
  23. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Cumbie seems to have the same philosophy towards "plays that work" as our previous coach.
  24. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Not that it matters. This game was lost in the first 3 minutes
  25. Re: Bulldogs Travel South for Showdown with Jaguars - latechsports.com

Probably a combination of both. A lot of these bullet-in-foot issues are disciplinary and that is on Cumbie.
