Yeah that is one of several things I have wondered over they years why no one really talks about it in terms of performance enhancement. People talk all the time about performance enhancing...

And knowing what I know, my bet is that Ostrander will only leave for a HC gig...especially after the details of this become known...assuming something doesn't happen at the last minute like an offer...
And please allow me to add that "pitching coach" doesn't necessarily have to be on his business card. And...I would have no hesitation in removing the "maybe" from your last one.
Yeah, nothing wrong with your statement, and it is completely logical, but unless something changes there is more to the scenario than just what you typed.
it isn't that simple, and not everything in your post is applicable to this situation.
I have every reason to believe that Ostrander will continue to be my neighbor.

So now that our coaching search is over, we can stop talking about LSU crap.
ummm...how about Christian Ostrander?
so is that supposed to give him an automatic bump to the top of the list? I haven't read that section of the La constitution, but I knew something like that is in there. :)
And...you guys just listed basketball players.
And...all three are three of the greatest to ever play.
This is baseball...and the guy played for part of two seasons.
Not that any of that...
He coached a travel ball team. That's it.
if he gets a choice he will be the HC at LATech.
And...I finished a conversation about 5 minutes ago that leads to these comments: He will stay here no doubt and invest in this program. He knows alumni want to win but also want someone to stay here...
My vote is cast for Ostrander.
