  1. Re: Bulldogs Ride Stifling Defense Past Miners - latechsports.com

Lost a couple of key defenders in the second half. Next man up! Guys came in ready to play and fill those vacancies.

Has there been an official status of Kolbe Fields injury reported? I...

  3. Re: Year Four of Cumbie Era Begins as Bulldogs Open Fall Camp - latechsports.com

Offense has to be better. Average would be better than last season. Six games with offensive scoring outputs of 10, 3, 14, 14, 12, and 6 is painful. We scored less than 21 points in 8 of 12 games....
  4. Re: Year Four of Cumbie Era Begins as Bulldogs Open Fall Camp - latechsports.com

I will start the season wearing my aluminum foil hat with some four-leaf clovers and rabbit feet in hand. Probably need a few mushrooms nearby too.

Hoping there will be one or two...

  6. Re: Preview: LA Tech at Middle Tennessee Weekend Series

I think my ears are still bleeding from having to listen to that lady call the games. Her calling T. Berch's double and two-base error an "inside-the-park homerun" was ultimate proof she should not...
  7. Re: Bulldogs Add 13 During Early Signing Period - latechsports.com

I wonder if it has anything to do with the "Also plays baseball" tidbit at the very end. Could this be another situation where some promises are made to accommodate a two-sport college athlete? ...

    Re: Tech at Arkansas question

Arkansas will be paying the referees $5M to ensure they meet the visiting team holding penalty quota. The payment also reinforces the "SEC Linemen Do Not Hold" clause.

Agree. He has an interesting demeanor. He doesn't bother with displaying any outlandish emotions on the court. He is very much an "another day at the office" type but he leaves zero doubt that his...

Re: North Texas Game - Sat Sept 16th - Red Out game

Has there been any official changes at LB yet? Some of the season starters (#9 and #21) have been mostly non-existant when they are in the game. At least LB's #3 and #6 seem a bit more active and...

Re: Back to the important stuff....

Correct! I was referring to the Morocco, RSA, and Jamaica types. The US team are underachievers and foolishly under-the-influence (negatively) of someone/something, not underdogs.

Good stuff. It is one of the great things about sports.....underdogs defying the odds, or the possibility of it.

Well dang. I didn't realize I was a borderline basketball sharpshooter. Maybe those stats are for some other kind of sharpshooting. I guess it is important to put the best sales-pitch on this news.

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. BYU Series

I expect Hegwood gets chewed out if he stopped at 2nd and LB believes he should be standing safe at 3rd with no outs. Hegwood was smart to obey the coaches call. He was booking it too around the...

Re: Preview: LA Tech vs. BYU Series

It sure does appear that there is little-to-no prep work done for many of these productions. It seems more of a show up one minute before and wing it for the first 30 minutes to get things going...

Re: Preview: LA Tech at UTSA

First half was the worst 3pt competition in the history of modern basketball. Both teams spent 10 to 15 minutes only shooting 3's and missing almost all of them.
  25. Re: Bulldogs Continue Conference USA Play at North Texas - latechsports.com

Is McNeil incapable of progressing through his receivers on play or is he not allowed too. If he is going to hold on too long then at least look at more than one potential receiver on the play.
