Pitchers probably develop/mature more than any other position while at Juco. Think about it...you learn with experience. A juco guy gets much more experience than a guy riding the pine in year 1.

Washam had a good summer at SS. Hope that works out for him.

He said when he was hired that he would have to build the team around some jucos and that he would use scholarships to build a pitching staff. Smart move since we have TOPS to supplement the rest.
