I don't like them simply because they're too reliant on multiple players. It's hard to get much good information about a single player and make predictions about his future performance when the stats...
To be fair, RBI and ERA aren't any better.
That’ll do it!
I've never personally cooked one on an electric smoker, but I've eaten a brisket that was cooked on one. I would describe it similarly, so it may have something to do with how the electric smokers...
FWIW, he does have a brother playing over there.
If you've ever thought your vote didn't count, check out the race for Caddo Sheriff :shocked2:

Nothing will ever top the Blue Light Cafe on that front. That place was something special.
Bad Wolf.
I will say that a fair amount of my food budget went to Hot Rod back in the day though. That $5 Tech Special was too good to pass up.
You guys have one of the top bbq joints in the state over there already, and it ain't the one with the Scatterload.
Where do we find these teams to play? Not even going to call them a school. Might as well play the intramural teams and generate some student interest.
The best part is definitely the burnt ends. If we're only talking about where the best slices come from, my favorite is on the edges of the point next to those burnt ends. This is assuming it's been...
That extra year makes a huge difference when the kids are still growing. Take a kid who's already talented in his own right, hold him back a year to get bigger, stronger, and faster, and match him up...
No, the problem is calling the bunt. It's the wrong call in nearly every situation.
15 isn't all that unusual, but some of these freshmen are 16 years old during baseball season now. The Garner kid mentioned earlier is very talented for sure, but he's also 16 and 6 months as a...
For what it's worth, Federico is the only one of those mentioned that doesn't appear to have re-classed. I know it's becoming a popular thing to do with athletes these days (and maybe I'm biased...

Honestly, that's all that really matters right now at this point in the season. Keep the players from getting hurt and hope you can make a run through the tournament, even as improbable as it is. ...
With the new recruiting contact rules that just came out, we should see a lot fewer of these early commitments, but like everything else in college sports, schools and coaches will find ways around...
If anyone going to the game tonight gets an extra mini bat, please let me know. My son collects them and I know he’d love to have one.
Even so, how many people outside of this board know, much less care, about that? I would wager the "many of us" is less than 100 people and probably closer to about half of that.
Personally, I...
I just mean in the general sense that he knew he needed to get out before spending a year with Hester as HC.
I agree with you about the transfer fiasco, but as time goes on, the only ones that...
In retrospect, sure looks like he knew what he was doing.
For all but 72 players in D1 baseball this year, getting out is the more likely result. It's why you have to keep a level head to play this game.
"Getting out" actually is expected most of the time. If they were losing their minds after every AB that didn't result in a hit, there would be a problem. That's what 9 year olds do.
