LSUS doesn't have a medical school. There is a completely separate LSU system-run medical school in Shreveport, LSUHSC-S, and I can't seem them closing it.

My understanding has been that our Barksdale offerings have been limited due to noncompetition rules. If lsus gets shuttered, perhaps we can dramatically grow Tech Barksdale.

So, I had to google "returned to the calendar" to get a basic definition. In Louisiana's case, does this mean it's dead, or will it actually be considered again? I assume if the latter, it won't be...
