You don’t get to pick where the resources are located. By far, most of the proven natural gas reserves are located in Russia, Iran and Qatar.

Germany’s “dependence” on Russian gas is overblown by our blowhard POTUS. They get about 35% of their gas from Russia. It is cheap - cheaper than Norway gas - so why wouldn’t they?

I work in the fossil fuel industry. I am not particularly concerned about who Germany is dependent upon, but it is stupid to attack allies leading up to a summit with Putin as it increases...

I haven’t been watching FoxNews so I don’t know what the issue is. But pawdawg seemed to be objecting to Germany buying a “fossil fuel”, which we do as well.
