Under what scenario? Are you saying that even with a full merger athletics would not go away, or that a full merger is unlikely and other scenarios would not do away with athletics?

I think he is starting to lose control. The president of LSU is in favor of this merger and even Tech to the LSU system. I believe LSUS is supportive of the idea at least somewhat.

What makes you think that? LSUS doesn't offer those programs and I doubt there would be money to start them up. I don't know where the money would come from.
