Temple loves their basketball conference. A football only BE membership fits the bill.

ULL, obviously.
Tech to the BE to add another shortened travel stop option vs. the super long ones to east and west coast. It breaks the travel up. Especially for the olympic/minor sports. And of course for recruiting Louisiana.

According to ESPN.com‘s Joe Schad, and citing an unnamed source, Navy has decided it will join the Big East as a football-only member in 2015. The Midshipmen have played every year of its existence as an independent.
According to an unnamed source of mine, Navy has not played every year of its existence as an independent. They had a few years in CUSA.
Nope. Army was in CUSA, not Navy. And Army voluntarily dropped out of CUSA because they had trouble competing.
