George Soros-backed DA Charges Couple with ‘Hate Crime’ for Painting Over ‘Black Lives Matter
Contra Costa County, California, District Attorney Diana Becton, who was backed by left-wing billionaire George Soros in 2018, has charged a couple with a “hate crime” for painting over a “Black Lives Matter” mural on the road.
In a press release Tuesday afternoon, Becton’s office announced that Martinez, California, residents Nichole Anderson and David Nelson were being charged with three misdemeanors for their actions, including “violation of civil rights.”
The press release explains:
On July 1, a local Martinez resident applied for a permit to paint a Black Lives Matter temporary mural in downtown Martinez in front of the Wakefield Taylor Courthouse. The permit was approved by the City of Martinez and the painting was done on July 4.
Nelson and Anderson arrived at the scene of the mural after it was completed with paint supplies. Anderson started to paint over the yellow letters “B” and “L” in the word “Black.” She used black paint and a large paint roller to do so. The video has been shared widely by witnesses and shared on social media.
The video was, in fact, shared on social media. Following that, news organizations and activists sprang into action, and Anderson and Nelson were “doxxed,” with personal information — including addresses and phone numbers — posted.

Do conservative people with lots of money not donate to campaigns through PACS set up to support the election of conservative office holders? I have no doubt that rich people hold out-sized influence in our system of government (and that it's a negative thing), but just like the liberals who see the Koch brothers as the boogeyman, some of y'all need to buy yourselves some tin-foil hats with some of this stuff.
Koch brothers are no longer the boogeyman. They are "establishment" backers, and since their $$$ had zero influence on Trump, they have backed off from him. They like many establishment republicans, and old school democrats (the very few who are left) are almost identical in philosophy which is why many have called them the uniparty. Only within the last 3 years have you seen the republicans and democrats polarize even more than they were.
I would argue that conservatives have not shifted that much to the "right", only because you are not seeing a rise in groups such as KKK, or white supremacist groups. KKK is probably less than 1000 people nation wide, and I am not familiar with any other white supremacist groups that have even the numbers that the KKK has. Contrastly, you have seen large increases in ANTIFA supporters and BLM supporters. Both have been very active, and very violent and destructive in the last few months. The democratic party has shifted way to the the left with such platforms as
1. Defund the police
2. Amnesty for all illegals
3. Repairations
4. Green New Deal
5. Medicare for all
Do you think the left-wing version of TYLERTEXAS sees it that way? Posting over on, I don't know, Cal-Berkely's sports message board? Are they still posting "evil Koch brothers backed DA's oppose X or Y" posts? Or in the Trump wildcard era do they just stick to Trump himself?
As to the rest, it certainly seems that the left has moved left for the most part (at least the most vocal and online parts). But you don't think Republicans have moved right under Trump on things like immigration enforcement or regulatory matters? I can say from experience that this administration works hard to discourage legal immigration matters in a number of ways that the main stream of conservative administrations didn't, but that may not reflect the whole of conservative thinking.
True Republican conservatives have always been far “right on things like immigration enforcement or regulatory matters“. It might have became more open to public in this day and time due to the Dems wanting basically open borders and putting a lid on our economy with their massive regulations. Not-to-mention free $$$ monthly checks, education, healthcare, voting rights and drivers licenses to foreign illegals and terrorist illegals crossing our borders under Obama and yes probably Zithromax Bush family...but more during the socialist pawn of Soros, Barrack Hussein Obama/Biden 8 year reign.

Another George Soros DA is history! Thanks to Gov. DeSantis for firing Monique Worrell (I think that's her name). All guvnors, at least those that love this country, need to purge their states of the evil prosecutors who George Soros helped to get elected. I probably have missed a couple, but this marks at least the 6th Soros' thug removed from office just in the last 12 months.
Speaking of George Soros, just read an article written by a former Soviet Union government official who included references to George Soros' role in the 1990's in trying to buy influence in Russia, and in other former Soviet republics.

I love how some of his defenders bow up when Soros is said to have been a Nazi during WWII. He's Jewish, they'll say, ignoring the fact he has denounced Judaism and the existence of Israel. For the record: George Soros willfully joined the Junior Nazis when a schoolboy in Hungary. His defenders will say, well, yeah, but he did that to protect his Jewish family from the Nazis when the Germans occupied Hungary 1941-1944. One might believe that if not for the fact Soros became the leader of the local organization and actively recruited other boys to join the Nazis.
Anyway, fast forward to today. The Soros' Foundation has many moving parts, separate pieces under the large umbrella all controlled by George Soros, and now his equally evil son, Alex. The Soros' funded Open Society Foundation funnels money all over the world and has sent $15 million to anti-Israeli terrorist organizations and pro-Palestinian organizations since 2016, and before that dating back to at least 2006. In 2006, and since then, a Jewish anti-defamation organization alerted, pleaded with, begged the Soros Foundation to cease funding those dangerous terrorist and terrorist-supporting organizations citing documented proof of their activities, and were ignored. To this day the Soros' Foundation has refused to comment even when presented tons of proof of where their money is going and what it is funding. So please spare me the: GEORGE SOROS COULDN'T HAVE BEEN A NAZI, HE'S JEWISH bullshit!
