    Status of Appleby's Injury

He has been playing hurt, Coach White had no real word on injury during postgame interview-He asked for our prayers.

Whatever it is, he needs to be shut down until he can go 90%+. Don't need to put his career in any danger at this point.

It didn't look good and I don't think it was related to the knee problem he has been having....left knee bent inward this time.

I agree, even though it will be extremely tough without him, we need him to stay out until he's in good condition.

I am sure coach wont push him if his injured. I know he has been playing a lot of minutes and probably needs to rest that knee or tendons.

He is strangely elastic. Hopefully, it was just a strain. I've seen him pull up limp several times this year, but that one looked more painful.

needs to sit out the year and strengthen his knees and hips. i'd hate to lose him for a season, but that's better than ending his career.

Sit out to strengthen knees and hips huh? Interesting. I'm thinking that might be more than a 1 year project.:icon_wink:

I think I heard Dave Nitz talk on the radio during the game tonight about Appleby having a bone chip or a small piece of loose cartilage in his knee. When the loose piece of bone/cartilage gets in the wrong spot it is painful, but when the piece of bone/cartilage shifts away from the wrong spot, he is fine.
