Just had an incident where a couple from Alexandria came up to Natchitoches in their EV and it died on I-49, after only 50 miles. They had to call a wrecker to tow them to a charging station. Then apparently because their battery was completely dead they had to do something else just so it could accept a charge. The wife of the local mechanic called posted about it on Facebook in some detail.

My truck is getting 22.4 mpg overall, better on the highway, 27.6 mpg, and I like it....and! I can go further than 50 miles without it dying on I-49!
