    Africa

This continent needs its own thread. Today and certainly in the years to come the geopolitics, economics, and military actions there will dominate world affairs.

To start with, the death of Priggy and the inevitable demise of the Wagner Group is already having ramifications in Africa. Emboldened by the news of Priggy's death ISIS launched attacks against police and military stations in Mali. Wagner Group has been hired by several African governments as security, and Wagner has done a very good job of keeping all those rogue organizations at bay. A weakened or completely disappearing Wagner Group leaves these stupid governments at the mercy of the thugs of ISIS. In Mali's case there are actually three separate rebel groups fighting the Mali government (Wagner) and each other. I have no sympathy for Mali, especially their commie government. They just celebrated the complete removal of France and other western officials, kicking them out of the country. No more European imperalism they bellowed. LOL! Now they will be begging, no DEMANDING that the UN send in European troops to save their sorry asses. Nope! This is too delicious not to savor. Other African nations, who also kicked out European influence and hooked their wagon to Wagner have to be shaking in their boots now. Good.

This will also open the door to more Chicom influence. I can guarantee the Chicoms will try to move in to fill the void, and that will be doubly dangerous for the free world. The hope will be the Chicoms find themselves in their own "Vietnam" trying to win a war that can't be won. Africa is a backwards, moronic, uncivilized place that will NEVER reach a civilized status. It will always be what it has always been. BUT! there are important resources there, like valuable REMs (rare Earth metals), gold, diamonds, etc...and therefore will always attract the attention of world powers. And of course, private organizations like the Soros Foundation which is heavily invested in various operations in Africa.

As for Putin and Russia, they have tried and will continue to try to win influence in Africa, but given Putin's very weakened state, Russia will be nothing but a bit player, taking the scraps discarded by China. And, the US because we have no leadership right now, has been completely shuffled to the side with no prospects to regain any influence in Africa.

China's been funding revolutions against European infrastructure there for 100 years, sadly. I agree with you that they are going to get bogged down the same way as every other power that tries to civilize the continent (I think it can be done eventually but not the way that's been tried in the past and certainly not quickly).

I was actually surprised France was still so involved, most European powers have quietly washed their hands of involvement.

Posted a comment on the "Russia" thread, but the news of Wagner in Mali really belongs here. With the loss of Prigozhin Wagner in Russia is kaput, and they had only official ties to the Wagner Group International but were in reality an independent organization, only sharing the name. Anyway, the tribes of Mali, usually engaged in civil war with each other, have banded together against a common enemy of foreign intervention which has contracted the Wagner Group as mercenaries. Wagner is aligned with the corrupt government of Mali and the all the foreign entities that are raping Mali economically. The Soros Foundation is involved in this endeavor.

According to reports the Wagner mercenaries have practiced unbridled brutality against all those who refuse to go along with the corruption. There have been mass murders in villages, including the beheading of tribal/village leaders whose heads were placed on stakes as a warning to toe the line. Still no details of the plane crash carrying Wagner members in Mali, and no updates on the attacks on the Wagner HQ/base.

Finally, info on the Wagner plane "crash" and actual video of it. The plane was a large Russian-built jet cargo/troop carrier. It belonged to the Wagner Group; they bought it from the Russian military. It didn't actually crash but rather burst into flames just as it was landing in Mali at the Gau International Airport. Reports are there was a fuel leak. The plane rolled off the runway into the brush and burned up. Reports say it was carrying mostly equipment/supplies and had about 20 personnel on board.

The jet was in the process of completing its landing, still rolling down the runway, when flames shot from the rear, where a large cargo door was. The video was shot from an airport building, someone standing on a roof or some outside position. The flame and smoke quickly obscured the plane and later video was shot from a distance, the only part of the plane visible was its tall tail in the brush, black smoke pouring from the wreck. The plane is a complete loss, no reports on casualties or exactly what it was carrying. For now the wreck is being called an accident.

The Soros Foundation can buy them another plane.

    Re: Africa

Ethiopia on the verge of invading Eritrea, their small neighbor to their north, that would give them access to the Red Sea. Ethiopia is landlocked, a country of 150 million, making it the largest landlocked country in the world. Right now, they have a treat/agreement with Djibouti to use their port on the Red Sea, but it is not enough capacity for a country the size of Ethiopia, so, invasion looks likely. There is a long history in that region, The Horn of Africa, of conflict between those countries, those tribes, all those (20+) ethnic groups, so another war will be nothing new. The world is not likely to care since Eritrea is ruled by a brutal dictator who practices abject slavery and forces his slaves to serve in his army. They will probably revolt and join the invading Ethiopian troops to depose the dictator.

The whole world is at war.

    Re: Africa

    LIFTING THE PRETENSE!

The George Soros Foundation backed "Wagner Group in Africa" has severed ties to the Russian Wagner Group and has gone totally independent. They have officially changed their name to honor Hitler's (and General Rommel's) Afrika Korps, adopting the name of "Africa Corps." If there was ever any doubt about Soros' affection for Nazis, this removes it. Yes, his son is now officially in charge of the Soros empire, but if old George was against this name change, he would have stopped it.
