I just think both Obama and Romney both know the issue is non scientific, political and power/money grabbing BS. Well at least Romney knows it. Obama just didn't want to upset the coal states and unions and not get their votes.

Peer Pressure Pushing Climate Change Stroller
Ken Silverstein | Oct 24, 2012 Share/Save Ok, so the subject of climate change didn't come up during any of the three presidential debates. Can we then conclude that any movement in that direction will get elbowed out over the next four years? Nope. The nation will continue to develop cleaner energies. Further steps will therefore be taken to reduce such heat-trapping emissions but the means ...

And they call themselves scientists? Well, maybe they do, but no one else who knows real science does.

Who would have thought that a superstorm would hit the East Coast all the way to Chicago one week before the election. Could Bloomberg's endorsement of Obummer be something planned by God?

I think every time Satan farts, it melts a bit of the polar ice caps. So.. solution? Give Satan some Beano for goodness' sake!

Tyler, even your buddy Romney concedes that global warming is true. He just doesn't believe the scientists who proclaim that it's affected by human activity. You know, the tons and tons of crap we pump into the atmosphere?

take an 8.5" X 11" piece of paper and punch a 0.2018" diameter hole in it. Look at it a loooooong time. It represents where atmospheric CO2 was 30 years ago.

Now take a pin and expand that same hole up to....0.2168".

OMG. Look at the difference!!!! It's crazy!!!!!1!!!

CO2 has never been this high EVAR (except that it has been considerably higher in the past....but don't talk about that....)

I guess this is how you learned to analyze atmospheric physics at LA Tech.

Mebbe you should ask yourself why a carbon dioxide molecule is so powerful in creating the greenhouse effect.

Sure, atmospheric levels of CO2 were much, much higher in the geologic past. But there was no human civilization then and the rise in CO2 levels usually occurred slowly allowing the biosphere time to adjust.

Now that's pretty dang cold. Can you imagine if that hit the US? Although Alaska had one of it's coldest ever last year.

Russia's harshest winter in over 70 years...
    -50 Degrees!

Across Russia, the deep freeze killed at least 45 people over the last week, 21 on Tuesday alone, the English-language Moscow Times reported Wednesday. Nearly 270 people were hospitalized, more than half with frostbite.
Russia's emergency ministry urged everyone in Moscow to stay indoors on Wednesday, while forecasters said the cold could get worse over the weekend.

I was in northern Russia in January some years back when it was -20F. And that was bitterly cold. This is even worse!
