The Sun is the #1 cause of global changes in temps. It goes thru cycles, that usually cover decades to even centuries. Now, it is true that a TINY % of planet temps can be affected, temporarily, by extreme changes in the atmosphere. Super volcanos can spew enough crud into the atmosphere to affect surface temps....but only for a relatively short period of time. Man's role? Less than 1/10th of 1/10th of 1% effects on global temps.
I'm perfectly okay with saying the earth is going through a period of warming that has been larger than the last 50 years, but has leveled off in the last decade. What cannot be satisfactorily demonstrated to me is 1) whether this warming is due to human actions, 2) whether human actions can affect the temperature *now* (carbon emission standards, etc), and 3) whether the warming is even a problem.
Bill Nye's faked experiments and Tyson's incendiary rhetoric do not move me, as I need proof, not windbaggery.

And it has been this way, per the rock record, since the beginning of time. It's man's ego that thinks he can change something that God hung in space as well as actions and reactions He put in place. This is a good portion of the problem. Many probably think being GW friendly and PC makes them spiritual. And it has become their religion as stated in this thread numerous times. This guy at least admits it.
