A typically misleading headline--maybe this should be posted under the media bias thread.. Results of the poll actually show that 91% of Americans don't consider global warming as their biggest concern. Apparently 50% reported they believe climate change is a result of manmade emissions.
Even the liberal Canadians believe that climate change is bogus.

NOAA Radiosonde Data Shows No Warming For 58 Years

In their “hottest year ever” press briefing, NOAA included this graph, which stated that they have a 58 year long radiosonde temperature record. But they only showed the last 37 years in the graph.
Here is why they are hiding the rest of the data. The earlier data showed as much pre-1979 cooling as the post-1979 warming.
I combined the two graphs at the same scale below, and put a horizontal red reference line in, which shows that the earth’s atmosphere has not warmed at all since the late 1950’s
The omission of this data from the NOAA report, is just their latest attempt to defraud the public. NOAA’s best data shows no warming for 60 years. But it gets worse. The graph in the NOAA report shows about 0.5C warming from 1979 to 2010, but their original published data shows no warming during that period.
Due to Urban Heat Island Effects, the NOAA surface data shows nearly one degree warming from 1979 to 2010, but their original radiosonde data showed no warming during that time. Global warming theory is based on troposphere warming, which is why the radiosonde data should be used by modelers – instead of the UHI contaminated surface data.

A new study suggests Australians are more inclined to exert themselves between the sheets when they can avoid getting hot and sweaty.
Last month the Sunshine Coast had its most fruitful month to date, with a record 258 babies born at Nambour Hospital.
Women’s and Family Services acting director Keppel Schafer said the numbers were in line with the Sunshine Coast’s annual birth pattern.
And he said winter weather conditions were the reason behind last month’s baby boom.
“The ongoing trivia that we have amongst the trade is that it’s the first cool change that the coast experiences in June or July in the year before,” he said.
“That probably sees us very busy nine months later in the following March.
“I think there’s a bit more snuggling under the doona and then there’s a new baby in a bunny rug nine months later.”

Democratic officials' campaign against fossil fuel companies is entering a new phase as state attorneys general launch investigations that mirror the Justice Department’s landmark case against “Big Tobacco,” probing claims that oil companies misled the public about the risks of global warming -- a charge industry representatives adamantly reject.
Massachusetts and the U.S. Virgin Islands are the latest to announce probes, specifically into whether ExxonMobil was up-front regarding what it knew about climate change.
“Fossil fuel companies that deceived investors and consumers about the dangers of climate change should be held accountable. That’s why we have joined in investigating ExxonMobil,” Massachusetts Attorney General Maura Healey said in announcing the inquiry.
The announcements follow a similar investigation by New York Attorney GeneralEric T. Schneiderman, who subpoenaed Exxon’s financial records and emails last November. Schneiderman has indicated ExxonMobil is not the only energy company in his office's crosshairs, vowing to prosecute any that committed fraud to maximize profit at the public's expense “to the fullest extent of the law.”
Yet industry representatives and their allies say what’s really going on is a coordinated attempt to silence climate change skeptics while punishing the industry itself for society’s use of fossil fuels, all based on spurious claims of a cover-up. Exxon representatives say the accusations against the oil giant are “laughable” and “not credible,” blasting recent news reports that assert the industry tried to mislead the public about global warming dangers.
“The stories were designed to put forth the inaccurate notion that our researchers had reached definitive conclusions about climate change decades and decades before the world’s experts on climate change had,” ExxonMobil media relations manager Alan Jeffers told FoxNews.com.
The legal pressure is mounting at both the state and federal levels, even as congressional Republicans accuse the Obama administration of unfairly hampering America’s energy industry.

Audit rips $25M US-funded climate change program in Guatemala
A $25 million U.S.-funded project to help Guatemala combat global warming is being slammed as another taxpayer-backed boondoggle after a new audit highlighted a series of problems -- including numerous inaccuracies in the group's work and a failure to produce a required long-term plan.
Without the plan, the government audit warned, "the funds ... could be wasted."
The grant for the Climate, Nature and Communities in Guatemala Program was awarded to the nonprofit Rainforest Alliance in February 2013 by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) as part of a broader effort to fight climate change abroad.
