There is no such thing as global warming caused by man that has in the past or currently effected the planet. It's been proven a hoax time and time again, per highly publicized falsified data, created by crack pot granola and grape juice drinking scientist with a political agenda. And pushed by greedy power and money grubbing political elitist socialist, and liberal democraps. End of story.
Good post.
And another casualty in this man-made GW hoax, in addition to the truth, the #1 casualty, is the focus on the environment. This distraction away from real environmental issues, has allowed some problems to resurface. Most of the real problems have been solved, or at least there is awareness and measures in place to control them. But, we have lost sight of the real issues, ones that we can do something about.
^^^The last three post do not bring credit nor enhance the reputation of LA Tech.
Enough said.

Asian glaciers 'putting on mass' NEW
Some glaciers in the mighty Karakoram range are defying the global trend and getting slightly thicker, researchers find.
On the contrary, salty, you are the one who has said too much on this thread.
No academic institution of higher learning gains credit or has its reputation enhanced by allowing itself to be corrupted by the complete fraud that the climate change crowd spouts as fact despite all of the mountains of evidence to the contrary.
RC, what's your opinion of Princeton.

Princeton does not "gain credit" or have it's "reputation enhanced" by offering this course. It's a fringe course along the lines of Learning from YouTube, Daytime Serials: Family and Social Roles, Lady Gaga and the Sociology of Fame, Popular Logic on TV Judge Shows, Nonviolent Responses to Terrorism, Cyberfeminism, and The Phallus courses. And remember, this is a school that offers a course on Scrabble: Wordplay - A Wry Plod from Babel to Scrabble.
I'd be surprised if you don't know about those I listed. Yeah, they are at different colleges, but they seem right up your alley for independent study.
Maybe you need to attend the University of Montana.

Fringe courses do not cause an institution to "gain credit" or have it's "reputation enhanced" by offering the fringe course.

JuBru, mebbe CalTech is more your cup of tea. Can you believe somebody gave $18 million to start an institute to study climate change. Of course, you will call if "fringe" also.

Hey Salty, you need to have Obama jump all over his muslim brothers for this one.
On April 17, 2012, a fire broke out in a tire dump near Al Jahrah, Kuwait. Agence France-Presse reported that the fire was fueled by about five million tires. Hundreds of firefighters, aided by soldiers and by employees of the Kuwait Oil Company, struggled to contain the blaze. The Kuwait News Agency reported that the nation’s Fire Services Directorate expected to have the fire completely extinguished later that day.
The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) on NASA’s Terra satellite captured this natural-color image at 10:55 a.m. local time (07:55 Universal Time) on April 17, 2012. The red outline approximates the actively burning area, and thick black smoke blows eastward from the blaze.
