So…electric vehichles,CNG, LNG ,solar, landfill gas , wind, are possible supplements to fossil fuels? I’ve seen this all before as a kid in the late 70’s -early 80’s. The marketing has changed but the concepts aren’t much more viable than they were then.
Yep, solar panels have been around for 50 plus years. Still takes an unsightly acre of them to produce a decent amount of energy. Don't get me started on these stupid wind turbines and how unsightly they are. I'm offended by them. I'm sure the "native americans" are too.
Seems like Biden should be giving the Saudis an award for following the current US energy policy by cutting production instead of threatening our second strongest ally against Iran. If we can pour BILLIONS of dollars of our equipment into a nation we know is corrupt, we can certainly tolerate another for killing a journalist linked to the Muslim Brotherhood (also our enemy, just like Russia).
Remember when the world was at peace and Arabs were signing accords with Israel and Russia was not invading anywhere and our border was secure and the government wasn't "mandating" anything on citizens and we were energy independent? I miss those days.
DNW, you forgot about the mean tweets. That offsets anything good.
You can argue that some things like electric vehicles are even less viable now that they are in some use and we see major problems. Electric vehicles clearly should not be used in areas prone to flooding because they will catch fire and burn for days if they flood out.
Until issues with flooding, recharging, limited battery life, and safe battery disposal are resolved, electric vehicles are not just ready for widespread general use. 2035 is a pipe-dream at the rate those issues are not being resolved.
Germany is dismantling a wind farm in order to mine the coal that is there. Gotta do what ya gotta do.

Unless I've missed it, today will likely be the day the idiots blame climate change for what has been called a "blue northern" for over 100 years.
