Should we create/design new uniforms for the nationally televised game against A&M? For years uniforms have evolved and become more popular. They can be used to help recruiting and grab attention. Is it time for us to add a new uniform to our traditional uni's? I could see it being a good marketing tool as part of advertising for the game as well as a way to pump up the players. We could build it up as revealing the new uniforms at the game.

Nope. The Aggies will be decked out in their traditional away unis. We will be decked out in our traditional home unis. I'm not in favor of going Boise or Oregon or something with unis. We already have a great design.
Back on Feb.1st I head many, many, recruits say how the cool lookin' unis were what got them to sign. Imagine what we could do if we got away from a traditional look?

The Brand is the NAME, LOGO"S, and COLORS. New uniforms, if done well, would be great for our program. Press and publicity is great for our program, uniforms aren't as important as winning, but they are great in addition to winning. I guarantee that college kids love many of the new uni's other schools wear. I like our traditional uni's, but new uniforms would draw new attention and create additional excitement.
Black wouldn't be great for summer, though I would like to see them in winter. Background of White/Silver would be sweet.
Unless they are being donated, new football uniforms would also cost a lot of money.
I know I am going to get laughed out of here for this but I believe it to be true. Design new uniforms, use it as part of your marketing for the game, and it will increase attendance enough to pay for the uniforms. At $40/ ticket, sell 3,000 more tickets = 120,000 (would that pay for uni's?). I know we would sell more tickets offsetting much of the cost.

Actually you should "invest" in new uniforms, then make sure you have inventory ready to sell the new look to the fans thus paying for the investment and hopefully make more after that is knocked out. Especially if the design is unique and different enough to get people excited about owning it!

We already have alternate red jerseys.
Dooley branded our jerseys into our end zones.
Our current uniforms are the same as the one Terry was wearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated over 4 decades ago.
