Are they anything like Black Oak Arkansas and Humble Pie?
Meh... They're good for the hispter crowd.
Union Board, I am disappoint.
Between this show and ULM booking The Fray, I have to ask... Is it still 2008?
Wow. They are lame.
What do majority of the kids at Tech listen to? I know they are not into college radio/indie rock. I doubt bands like the Black Keys would do well.
From what I can tell, kids at Tech now are mainly listening to country, a little rap, with a small demographic that is still into this dubstep fad that just won't seem to go away. There's no discernable trend among the majority of the student body as to what's "cool" these days. And to cut the UB a little slack, they wouldn't be able to afford a "cool" act that all the kids would enjoy even if there was a consensus pick.
Already hearing from a few students and a lot of recent graduates that this show isn't something they're exactly circling on the calendar.
It's gonna be very poorly attended is the vibe I'm gathering. I don't know whether 3OH!3 was picked due to monetary reasons or just lack of available acts for the scheduled date, but this is piss poor for a spring concert. Oh well better luck next year.
