    Hawaii fires coach

That was a surprise for me.............

Northwestern State fired their coach, as well. Wonder if Trina Frierson will take over for NW State?

Does that mean that Jackson is free to move on?
She's a pretty good player for sure!

I friend of mine who had worked in the UH athletic department as a trainer was always very critical of Takahara-Diaz. She seemed to resent the fact that she was hired after not coaching for a while and felt she was placed there because she was popular with the work she had in local government office. I didn't know if this was just one woman's opinion or a growing consensus among the UH faithful.

Heard Jennifer Graf resigned. But, maybe she was indeed fired or pressured into resigning. Her career record, 8 yrs, was 106-131. Not too good. She's a personal friend, a good person, and I hope she lands on her feet somewhere.

Trina wasn't on the staff this season. According to the school's site, she returned home. Shannon Johnson, WNBA All-Star and Olympic Gold Medalist, was hired in place of Trina.
