Acupuncture

Anyone, or anyone you know, ever try this ancient Chinese medical technique? If so....results?

I tried the modern electric version of it--not sure now what they call it but it uses electical stimulation to do essentially the same thing. Found it reduced pain, but only for a while. Not a permanent fix.

Have a friend who swears by it. Says she had a bad shoulder, so bad she couldn't even get dressed. Her husband had to help her do everything. Then she tried acupuncture and whalloh! all better. Think I'll try it and see.

I'm not sure, but I don't think acupuncture is meant to totally cure most ailments/pain, although, in some cases it can. I think it's meant to just provide relief for a period of time. It's been a while since I read up on it.
