Just an FYI: HS top Baseball talent is down across USA over the past many years. While Texas still fairly good (CA, FL tops), it has declined somewhat. Still some top players, but number of solid D1 talent decreasing in DFW market. Greater Houston region still tops at about 2 to 1. Austin, Round Rock, SA gaining and about even with DFW now. The top D1 assistants from Texas BCS schools say it as well and that they take a player or two they would not have 6-7 years ago now and look more out of state as well....Supply can meet all Demand for region. Scouts have been saying it for years.

Whew.....! Maton survived first inning. Did well as freshman early in week day games. Then put in weekend series to start at Nebraska and did not fair well. Now game 1 weekend series. Hope he gets together for rest of game or could be long night. DBU throws a freshman that has done well in weekend series so far this year.
