Tech's magic numbers are 2 over Fresno (win the series on the field) and 3 over San Jose State (combination of Tech wins and SJSU losses) to qualify for Mesa.

And the door is open just the tiniest crack for Tech to finish as the #3 seed...Tech would have to sweep Fresno State in Fresno, Nevada would have to win at least two of three over Hawai'i in Honolulu, and SJSU would have to sweep NMSU in San Jose.

I would like to see us sweep Fresno State and have San Jose win 2 against NMSU so Fresno State would be eliminated. 2 wins by us and a sweep of NMSU by SJSU would also eliminate Fresno State.

You will not sweep Fresno State at Fresno....very rarely happens by anyone playing there. Fresno at home in critical situation...advantage Fresno.

Yes...Tech's sweep over SJSU would give Tech the #6 seed and leave San Jose State as the odd team out if both teams end up 7-11.
