I don't think that's the main problem. The races are only 25% of the score.

I don't know, but my guess is that it looks like we lack the man hours that these other schools have. Their teams look like they have a lot more members than our team, which makes sense because most of those schools are significantly larger than Tech.

Also, where do we practice? Lake D'Arbonne?

Our recent dominance has been in the Deep South Conference, but we haven't owned anybody on the national stage. The same schools finish at the top every year.

I don't know. That's just a guess based on looking at some pics and reading the preview from the UAHuntsville CC site. Most of those other teams looked like they had a lot more members than we did.

In the oral presentation category, we've finished last twice and second to last twice. They may be discriminating against our accents.

Also I suspect it has a lot to do with what Dawg06 said, and the available man hours. I know almost everyone on the team, and it eats up your time (part of the reason I wasn't on it).
