No need to doctor anything. Zimmerman should be in jail for being an idiot. Keystone Cop trying to be Billy Badass shoots a kid who was minding his own business. Keyston Cops/Neighborhood Watch folks are not supposed to carry guns for one. Two, Trayvon Martin wasnt doing anything suspicious, just walking around with a hoody on. Zimmerman needs to go to jail, period.

Really? Have you not kept up with this one? Much is yet to come out and I know we don't know the full story but WOW. In this day and age and with the liberal, socialist, media agenda you have to stay on top of stories like this as much as possible. And that means checking all sources. Heck, the main stream media is doctoring reports, film and real data now.
I say just skip the regular process and let Al and Jesse pass judgement.
The reason that he has not been arrested so far:
1. His story of being physically attacked by Martin, which was corroborated by his physical injuries and a witness account.
2. Florida's self defense law is one of the most liberal in the world. The statute says:
776.013(3) A person who is not engaged in an unlawful activity and who is attacked in any other place where he or she has a right to be has no duty to retreat and has the right to stand his or her ground and meet force with force, including deadly force if he or she reasonably believes it is necessary to do so to prevent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the commission of a forcible felony.
Notice the statute does not make exceptions for people who are acting like Keystone Cops or who even provoke the attack.
If the weight of the evidence shows that he did not reasonably believe that deadly force was necessary to prevent great bodily harm to himself, then I am sure he will be arrested.

I think it is possible that Martin felt threatened by this guy that was trailing him, and he tried to fight Zimmerman in self-defense.

That is possible as well.
In the end, this could be a case with a tragic ending where neither person commited a crime. Sometimes in life that happens. Their could still be some "moral" fault to place, and Zimmerman could still be held liable for damages in a wrongful death lawsuit. I think this case does put some scrutiny on the Florida Stand Your Ground law. Perhaps the legislators should reign the law in some and include exceptions for people who provoke the attack. I think the claims that law enforcement has mishandled the case, that there should have been arrest, or that race played a role in the killing or the way the case was handled are all a bit premature at this time.

I believe this is what happened from Zimmerman's own 911 call. He said Martin was running. Yeh, he was running because some strange guy that he didnt know was following him, even though he was just walking down the street. Zimmerman said that he was doing suspicious activity, like walking around slowly in the rain, looking at people's houses. Was he in someone's yard? Was he trying to break into a house? IF not, I can understand keeping an eye on him if you think it is suspicious, but dont be too crazy about it. This could have been easily avoided if Zimmerman would have been a little smarter about it. This is America, someone should be able to walk down the street without someone bothering them. I have all sorts of characters walk up and down the street near my house in Houston, I dont call the cops or follow them with a firearm.
I've seen a lot of "this is what I would have done" comments from folks who have never been in this situation.
I dont think race had any part in it. I think Zimmerman probably thought he was doing what he was supposed to do. He was just overboard with it.
True, I would never be stupid enough to be walking down a street following a man with a firearm in my possession. If I thought he posed a threat, I would call the cops and let them handle it and not bother him unless there was a grave threat. Obviously wasnt the case here, now was it?
