Baseball Baseball. Baseball Shutout by Aggies

A new article has been posted on www.latechsports.com:

New Mexico State scored four runs in the third and never looked back as the Aggies (30-11, 7-2 WAC) shutout Louisiana Tech (17-22, 1-8 WAC), 10-0, in a run-rule decision on Saturday afternoon at Presley Askew Field.

The Bulldogs walked nine Aggie hitters and left 10 runners on base

Sim decided to make Kimball a left fielder again.

True--I guess at this point we'd have to consider that a silver lining.

Re: Baseball. Stefan Pitches Gem But Baseball Falls 3-2

I watched this game on DirecTV. A sad way for a game to end. BOTH pitchers were great. (with the exception of the walks issued by the pitching staff) The game really did come down to an offense that didn't get ANY timely hitting, and one mistake by the catcher. He was pointing to 3rd, then threw across his body to 2nd for the easy out. He makes that throw, the games over 2-1 Dawgs.

We had runners (sometimes multiple) in scoring position in the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th. Frustrating loss.

Don't put your trust in anyone on this forum, including me. You are the key to your own success.
