Has completed her two years at Pensacola State College. Her team finished 3rd in the national tourney, losing to eventual champion Trinity 71-66 in the semis, and then beating Central Arizona for 3rd place. Team had lost their leading scorer to a head injury prior to the semis. Finished 29-5. Those 5 losses marks a season high for any team Broome has been a part of in a long time.

I was told last night by someone close to her family and close to the girls' BB program at Natch Central, that Broome has been recruited by several SEC schools.....including Ole Miss. And a host of so-called "mid-majors." But, it's not always clear what really constitutes "recruiting" or how serious the suitors are. I was told by a family member some months back that Brandy wants to get closer to home. Guess, we'll see.

Is she over 6'2"?

She plays taller than 5'9". Has long arms and an incredible vertical leap. VERY athletic. A motor that doesn't quit. Loves to play defense, and is a team-player first. Doesn't care if she scores 20 or 2, as long as the team wins. No ego problems.

Mostly....she's a winner. Every program needs winners.

she or Caples would both be a nice addition to the Techsters...
I know we have 12 current members on the 2012-2013 team and should have offers to put out there but whether we will or not who knows!
I have to admit that one of the two, and a really BIG would be incredible for sure!
